Everyone loved Uppermoor Farm .The standard of decor and layout were perfect and my mother was suitably impressed. So were all the relatives who came to stay and help us celebrate Mum’s 80th. The location was spectacular, as were the views. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but what can you expect in winter in the peak district. We found a local farm shop less than 1/2 mile away that sold Pork Pies and Sausage rolls to die for and made frequent trips to Buxton for supplies, as well as The Book Shop, Masson Mills, Blue Jon Cavern, Buxton Opera House and (for the kids) Ye Olde Sweet Shop. A really busy New Year Break.
