Introduction: Buxton in the Peak District is the Counties highest Market Town making it a super place for exploring the moors and Derbyshire dales. It is also one of the oldest ‘Spas’ in the country too. Buxton is best known for its beautiful Peak District scenery, architecture and its Spa water. It is a town of two halves Higher Buxton & Lower Buxton. .

A week-long programme of events culminates in the annual carnival.
