"International family re-union to celebrate a very special occasion"

We had a fabulous time and were extremely impressed with the high level of comfort and the standard of the facilities at the farm not to mention the sheer breath taking beauty of the surrounding country side! We were celebrating my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary and our family had travelled from Australia, South Africa and Geneva so it was a very special occasion and we all had a brilliant time! Thank you!

"What a truly fantastic place and setting it is".

It was a most memorable way to spend my 40th birthday with family and friends, resulting in a number of sore heads after a black tie dinner on the Sunday morning! A highly enjoyable break away for us all in a truly wonderful house and location. This was a comment echoed by all who stayed. Many many thanks.

"Truly a Gem"

We had a tremendous time at Uppermoor Farm everything was as we would have wished, and despite so many of us there was plenty of space and we did not feel on top of each other. The rooms were all gorgeously appointed, beds all very comfortable. Even the snow played ball and allowed us to have a crisp morning walk on the Sunday. Thank you for having the paths cleared it made all the difference. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Uppermoore Farm to anyone, it is truely a gem.

"Wonderful Properties and Beautifully

What a great week we all had over New Year! We all thought that your properties were wonderful: so unusual to find such high quality living and kitchen space...and all beautifully maintained. Will hope to re-book again in the summer.

"An ideal Get-Away"

Glad we found this venue for all of us to spend time together on an amazing extended weekend. As it says on the website it's truly a 5 star accommoation.  Everyone of us appreciated how beautiful Uppermoor Farm is. We would love to stay again.......

"Seventy Years Young Celebration"

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend which was to celebrate Wendy's and my 70th birthdays so it was lovely that all our children, their other halves and our grandchildren were able to meet up in such a lovely property and such lovely surroundings.

"Fabulous Accommodation in Beautiful Setting" Uppermoor Farm provided the most excellent venue for my friend’s hen weekend. All the ladies were unanimous in their praise for such fantastic facilities and the picturesque location. Jan and her team really have thought of everything from providing essential kitchen equipment (better equipped than at home!) to the luxury extras in the en-suite bathrooms. 
I would love to give 6 stars; having stayed in a number of cottages in Derbyshire with large group of friends in recent years, it is by far the best. I would have no hesitation in recommending Uppermoor and would love to stay again in the future... we best get organising!

"Absolutely fantastic".....I just wanted to thank you again for the lovely stay we had at your holiday cottages. We came with a group of 18 girls for a relaxed hen weekend and rented two of the three cottages and they are absolutely fantastic. Well stocked, warm, comfortable and just gorgeous, the cottages were far beyond our expectations. The surroundings are beautiful and the finishing touches like tea and cakes on arrival really made it a holiday to remember. Thank you again, I have already recommended it to friends and am planning our return holiday!

 "The perfect place to celebrate a special birthday"
This is a lovely place to stay if you want luxury accommodation in the beautiful Peak District. I hosted my 50th birthday celebrations with
22 family and friends, and we had fun from our arrival on the Friday night to leaving on Tuesday morning. Everyone commented on the wonderful refurbishments to the properties (log fires, luxury bathrooms) and on the cleanliness of the place. The complimentary victoria sandwiches were lovely and went well with our Prosecco. What fun we had from beginning to end, with a murder-mystery evening followed by two evenings of singing. There was no need to worry about noise levels as no neighbours in the vicinity. This property is very high spec and suited to those who will treat it with care. We are returning again in 2012 for a 'repeat performance'!

 “A Dream from Overseas”.........  I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you what a wonderful property you have and how much we enjoyed our weekend at Uppermoor Farm. Taking both the Farmhouse and the annex worked brilliantly and we comfortably slept 11 adults and 3 children. Everyone was amazed with the quality of finish of the property along with every bedroom having its own en-suite, this really made for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and we had more than we needed. The location of Uppermoor Farm was amazing, allowing for walks from the front door. I would happily recommend the property to anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful house with excellent facilities in a fabulous location. You made booking a weekend away for 14 people from overseas a dream, thanks. We look forward to staying again next time we are back in the UK, I know that some of the party are also planning to return.

"A Gem in the Peak District for larger family groups"............   Jan - "I would just like to pass my thanks to you and to your House-keepers on such a wonderful place and helping my family have a truly great stay. The welcome from Barbara was lovely (as were the cakes - the expanding waistline is my proof) and she was continually helpful throughout our stay answering questions and resolving any minor problems. Our stay was a great success, everyone was delighted with the clean, spacious accommodation and its suitability and adaptability, i.e. it was cosy enough for everyone to sit around and be included in discussions, games etc yet if wanted we were able to sit separate and do things in smaller groups. This really is a gem in the Peak District for larger family groups. The kitchen was fantastic, very spacious with everything at hand and of high quality. I've never cooked on an AGA before but it proved to be very easy following a few simple instructions from Barbara. All the bedrooms and en-suites were very tastefully decorated again to very high quality. Everyone was instantly amazed at the location and the high quality of the accommodations, anywhere that can cater and exceed the range of diverse requirements from my family certainly needs to be promoted and I wish you every success in the future. I know that everyone will be recommending Uppermoor Farm to their friends and we intend to return again next year".

"Home Away From Home" ......." We are a group of 20 university friends who rented all 3 properties (Farmhouse, Horseshoe Cottage and Coach House) for exclusive use- it was perfect for a big reunion. It was great not to be sharing this fabulous venue with anyone else, although any one of the buildings would be great as a stand alone rental. Everyone had a fantastic time, it’s one of the best weekends we’ve had together. We will all be recommending the place to all of our friends, and are tempted to go back in the winter for a different perspective.. The three buildings are nestled together around a lovely courtyard in acres of grounds surrounded by lovely views.We were all amazed by the quality of the buildings and furnishings, which are all of the standard you would want for your own home. Bedrooms were all great, wih really comfortable beds and excellent ensuite facilities. The main attraction is the brilliant communal space, both inside and out, but especially in the main farmhouse. With the orangery leading out onto the patio we were able to mingle easily; we collected all the smart garden furniture and BBQs in one area where we could eat and play boules on the walled lawn. The owner has been really helpful and patient with communications, answering all of our questions very promptly, and even letting us in early so that we could watch the World Cup afternoon game. The ladies who greet you with the keys left us with beautiful fresh flowers throughout the house and homemade Victoria Sponges in each building. We would all highly recommend this property for the excellent standard of comfort, combining rural farmhouse atmosphere with all the usual modern amenities, right down to a massive American fridge freezer and WiFi. "
